SYNC yes that'south right, online game thing : sync, where the game needs to sync the players commencement so the cutscenes plays at the same time with another players. most of the cutscenes in MHW didn't starts after a loading screens specially the monsters intro. the game can't sync the actor upwards with another players because you have to walk from bespeak A to bespeak B and information technology's non like it'south a linear path.you tin fuck around the map and that's the problem. it ends with the blackness screen means the game needs to sync again just in case the player get dc or lag so they can start the gameplay at the same time.

I've seen people maxim similar they 'fucked' the coop or the multiplayer up. 'they did it with in 3ds just fine'.
fifty-fifty though those people played mh4/mh4u they seems to forgot that the cutscenes they saw were in online quest hub (ten above). aye 10 vs 40+ cutscenes. the 40+ cutscenes can only be establish when y'all play the unmarried thespian part of the game. oh yeah there was a unmarried histrion way in the older games, remember that? they separates online and single player and called it Hub quest and Village quest. they didn't show the 40+ cutscenes in online gathering hub quest well because of those reasons, they only testify you the 10 monsters cutscenes in the online hub.

Oh and also the ten monsters in online hub, you fights them in the special loonshit for them, i tent 1 area. so the cutscenes ever throws you straight to the monsters face up. they did information technology with behemoth likewise, except for ancient leshen.

MHW is the first monster hunter where yous tin play the story/village quest with your friends. sounds proficient on paper but y'all will starting to run into a lot of problems with that.

what would happen to your friends while yous busy watching the cutscenes? exercise they stuck outside the area?

i judge the style the mhw cutscenes works now is the best they tin can practice, Iceborne cutscenes will probably works the same way aforementioned every bit the base game.
